Rose Finn-Kelcev (Sept 17) B'ham trip

I want! I want! Art and Technology exhibition at Gas Hall, Birmingham, 20/09/17.
Within this exhibiton Rose Finn-Kelcev art work was a miniature, illuminated sign that displayed and endless stream of rules and prohibitions that appear from nowhere.

She uses the convention of the scrolling LED sign displayed in public sapces to inform and instruct people. The sign reminded me of the screen on motorways and trainstations, like Rose says its to inform and instruct people of what to do.

Whilst walking around Birmingham Rose Finn-Kelcev work reminded me of all the street signs and work signs instructing and informing people what to do.
